The painting started with an initial wash of acrylic ink wet on wet. Whilst still wet
I added the imprint of a few ferns to give an autumn impression; this was added with a hint of bronze paint and covered with cling film, then left to dry. The trees were added later with black acrylic ink and white gouache. The bit I really liked painting was the Barn Owl as the night hunter, this was painted with burnt umber and white gouache.
My signature is located on the front lower right hand corner of the painting.
