This is the second paint I have done at this location and have used a lot of masking fluid for the waves and the water slashing on the groynes. I was very taken with the colour change in the waves, plus the dark summer sky approaching and the children paddling was a bonus. The change in the wave to sea colour was a made for the wet-on-wet technique.
