I always try to have a holiday at Danby on the North York Moors and occasionally make a visit to the Danby Beacon at the top of Beacon Hill. I do enjoy painting watercolours of the North Yorkshire Moors and this painting gave me a chance to use some watercolour pencils for the road sign with plenty of wet-on-wet technique and dry brush work.
My signature is located on the front lower right hand corner of the painting.
